Prof. Dr. Uğur Tekin

He was born in 1965 in Memmingen (Germany). After completing his primary, secondary and high school education in Germany, he completed his last year of high school at Izmir Fatih College and was entitled to enter Ege University Faculty of Dentistry. Prof. Dr. Uğur Tekin successfully graduated from Ege University in 1988 and started his doctoral education at Ege University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery in the same year. In 1995, he successfully completed his doctorate education.

He won TÜBİTAK and DAAD scholarships and went to Justus-Liebig University in Giessen, Germany to conduct research and development related to his profession. He was appointed as Associate Professor in 2006 and Prof. Dr. in 2012 at Ege University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery. In 2013, Dt. Hasan Çetin founded the Private KordonDent Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic.

KordonDent Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic serves its patients with many treatments within the scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery such as dental implant applications, impacted tooth operations, jaw fractures, jaw joint diseases.

He shared his knowledge as a speaker in many congresses and symposiums related to oral, dental and maxillofacial surgery in Turkey and abroad. Apart from this, he also directed courses and group work related to his field. Prof. Uğur Tekin is a member of many scientific associations (Turkish Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Association Board Member, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Association Board Member, Oral and Maxillofacial Association Member, Turkish Nobel Academy, ITI member) He still continues to work in the fields of Dentistry Aesthetics and Implants.
